As the year proceeds and we enter the month of Love, February, three movies hit the big screen on the 7th of February 2020. Three movies which have totally different approach and context head to clash with each other. The question lies which one is going to touch the audience and which would fail to do so.

Malang

Malang is a romantic thriller directed by Mohit Suri. The movie stars Aditya Roy Kapoor in the role of Advait, Disha Patani as Sara, Anil Kapoor in a negative role of Inspector Anjaney Agashe and Kunal Khemu as Michael Rodriguez. The story of movie revolves around four people. As the movie proceeds forward many mysteries get winding up. The chemistry seen between Aditya and Disha is very impressive and the movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. Killing is shown as an obssession in the movie. However some of its elements match with movies like Ek Villian. Malang’s first day collection is the highest among the three movies with figures been 6.5 crores. Also Malang is supposed to have a upper hand over the three movies as respect with the starcast involved. The movie shows great acting skills of the actors.  

Hacked

Helmed by Vikram Bhatt, Hacked is Bollywood thriller starring Hina Khan, Rohan Shah, Sid Makkar and Mohit Malhotra in the lead roles. It is the debut movie for Hina Khan who as showed splendid performance in the movie. The movie unleashes the obssession of young kid with a woman. Hacked brings about the dark side of the web which we often ignore which can land us in serious problems. The movie tries to create a awareness among the people about how dangerous our technology drenched world can be and where the usage of internet can go wrong. On its first day, Hacked earned around 1.75 crores. The movie is expected to make more buzz among the young generation and the educated ones.

Shikara

Shikara is Hindi romantic period drama directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Its a debut movie for both the leads Sadia and Aadil Khan. The movie is based on the forceful flee of the Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir. The film claims to show the the conditions of the rerfugees during that time but has somewhat failed in it. The movie’s focus can be seen to have shifted from the real context to the love story of the leads. Talking about audience reviws, Shikhara has not been that well accepted by the audience as the audience was looking forward to more relevant content. Shikhara on its first day at the box office earned around 1.2 crores which is a decent figure. Shikhara has however been distracted with the content but the acting of the actors has managed to lift up the movie.
